Social Event

As part of the ICRAMI 2025 conference program, a social event was organized on Saturday, November 22, 2025, offering participants the opportunity to discover the cultural and historical richness of the city of Monastir, Tunisia. This social activity aimed to strengthen professional connections in a relaxed and inspiring environment, while showcasing one of the country’s most emblematic heritage sites.

The visit began at the Ribat of Monastir, a remarkable historical monument and one of the most ancient and best-preserved fortresses in North Africa. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the Ribat stands as a symbol of the region’s medieval Islamic architecture, with its defensive towers, inner courtyards, and stunning panoramic views. Participants enjoyed exploring this iconic landmark, which has played a significant role in Tunisia’s cultural and historical identity.

The tour continued toward Monastir’s city center, located near the famous mausoleum of the late President Habib Bourguiba, a monumental structure honoring Tunisia’s first head of state. Surrounded by palm-lined avenues and vibrant public spaces, the city center offered participants a pleasant and authentic glimpse into everyday life in Monastir, with its charming cafés, local shops, and welcoming atmosphere.

This social event was a memorable occasion for attendees to unwind, exchange ideas, and appreciate the beauty and heritage of Monastir. It added a human and cultural dimension to the scientific program of ICRAMI 2025, contributing to the overall success and enriching experience of the conference.
